About US

First settled in 1865 Glandore sits at the base of the Brokenback Range on Broke Rd in the famed Hunter Valley region of New South Wales. Blessed by a unique terroir and with access to some of the Hunter’s most distinguished ‘old vine’ vineyards our wines are fastidiously made and distinguished by their remarkable character and intensity of flavour.
Boasting a 150T winery onsite, all our wines are crushed, fermented, and vinified by our winemakers. They are by nature handmade and deliver both intensity of flavour and complexity with rare finesse. Selecting fruit from the Hunter Valley, Hilltops and Tumbarumba regions of NSW our winemakers are crafting wines and styles that perfectly represent these places. The right grapes from the right region allows us to pour you the best wines possible.
Whenever you choose to visit us, our “Hunter Valley Cellar Door of the Year” tasting room is a truly 5-star experience. The cellar door team are all passionate about wine and will guide you through a bespoke tasting experience while nestled amongst the vines of the beautiful Hunter Valley.
We are always keeping an eye out for interesting new varieties, though our core range of traditional classics and contemporary alternate varieties keeps our winemakers invigorated and our cellar door experience fresh and enticing.
The perfect way to enjoy Glandore wines is with friends and great food but the best way to get your hands on them is by becoming a Cellarhands Member. With first options on new releases, dinners, special events and wines made just for you, we offer an enviable wine journey for all our members.
Meet The Team

Duane Roy
Here from the get-go, Duane is our fearless leader and while wine is his love, AFL flows in this man’s veins. He bleeds Yellow & Black and lives and dies by the mighty Richmond footy club. As much at home on the pans as he is in the winery, his career as a chef gave him an unsatiable appetite for amazing food and great wines. An ability to recall just about every wine he has shared over the years, his knowledge brings intangible wealth to the Glandore team.

Nick Flanagan
Hailing from WA and cutting his teeth in the wineries of Margaret River and Tasmania before settling in the Hunter Valley you won’t find Nick too far from the beach searching for uncrowded waves when there is down time to be had. Never far from a glass of chardonnay Nick prefers to be covered in grapes than reading his emails. He’s always there when the heavy lifting needs to happen. Doesn’t mind a few hours on the golf course either.

Aimee McLennan
Shipped to Australia straight from the finest County in the world, Yorkshire! Aimee joined Glandore with a wealth of travel experience under her belt and a love for outstanding food and drink experiences. Can also be found on a netball court letting off steam or a yoga mat indulging in some self-care. Astute problem solving over a good strong brew, and having an ear to bend, always.

Kelly Dar
Meet Kellie, our talented Cellar Door Supervisor at Glandore Wines. With a Diploma of Visual Arts, she has a passion for photography, painting, and all things art. Beyond her creative pursuits, Kellie adores dogs and alpacas. Her warm and welcoming nature makes every wine club member feel right at home as she guides them through our exceptional selection. Discover the world of wine with Kellie and experience Glandore’s finest offerings.

Georgia Sinclair
Georgia is our assistant winemaker at Glandore. Currently pursuing her Bachelor of Wine Science at Charles Sturt, she’s passionate about crafting exquisite wines. When not at the winery, Georgia spends time with her beloved dogs, Eddie and Margaret, and indulges in pottery as an outlet for her artistic flair. Her social charm shines as she connects with others at the local watering hole…. frequently

Lauren Herring
Meet Lauren, the brilliant mind in administration at Glandore. A true behind-the-scenes extraordinaire, she effortlessly governs our wine club and cellar door operations. Her love for engaging with wine club members creates an inviting atmosphere at Glandore. Despite studying nursing, she serendipitously found her place in the wine industry. Originally from Sydney, Lauren cherishes moments spent with family and friends.

Finn Flanagan
The namesake of our popular Black Label Fireball, Finn is living his best life. When not studying Occupational Therapy at Newcastle Uni, he finds himself chasing the $. While serving beers at a local craft brewhouse in Newcastle he still finds time for his passions in surfing and lately, rock climbing. He has a few vintages under his belt at Glandore and a career in winemaking is not completely off the table just yet.

Geoff Eriksson
Geoff is the vibrant soul of the Glandore Cellar Door. His tastings are packed with laughter filled knowledge. His ultimate downtime is spent relaxing in the spa with a glass of Savagnin and Kylie blasting from the sound system. Travelling the world with his husband, Geoff loves the theatre and is the outrageous host each year of a glamourous Oscars themed party where costume is not only encouraged but awarded.

Nutmeg
The Matriarch of the Glandore cellar door. Affectionally knows as Noot to the Glandore team, her ballet like prance and spin twisting gymnastics to encourage pats from our guests puts proof to her cheeky and affectionate nature. Loves: treats. Hates: rubbish trucks.

Oreo
Our lovely Mr ‘O’. One step away from a nervous breakdown, he spends his day nestled under a desk or hiding below a tank in the winery. However, when this majestic beast parades around the property, with the wind ruffling his hair, it is a sight to behold. Loves: car rides, hates: storms.

Sunny
If there is ever a dog that is loving life, then Sunny is it. Where every day is the best day ever, Sunny is the first to greet our guests, often sharing your couch while having her belly rubbed. Affectionate as she is energetic, Sunny will make your day. Loves: humans, hates: Alberts kisses

Albert
The newest member to the team, Albert is our sweet hearted goofball. We are not always sure what is going in there but there isn’t a mean bone in his body. He party’s until he drops and then you will find him cuddling a toy under Aimee’s desk. Loves: exploring, hates: the car.
