2021 Cabernet Sauvignon

Cellarhands Moppity Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

From $120.00 per 750ml

    Description

A colossus of a wine that is the first 100% Cabernet Sauvignon to be released under the Cellarhands banner and with three trophies under its belt to date it is a ripper. A deep and dark red in colour with mountains of fruit aromatics leaping from the glass this is a generous wine to say the least. Fresh blueberries intense cassis and further complexed by steely graphite and fresh tobacco. It boasts a full bodied palate that is jammed packed full of fresh blackcurrants savoury cocoa nibs with generous soft tannins that envelope the mouth. Cabernet can be accused of being a bit hollow through the mid palate but our Cellarhands Cabernet is full from front to back without the jammy characters that can come from overripe fruit. Drinking well now and onto 2032.This wine will sit well alongside a range of protein but for a softer approach a porcini mushroom risotto would be well served.
