Our 2022 is a spicy little number with amazing colour, generous aromas and is elegantly mouth-filling to say the least. Is this your new favourite wine? An aromatic bouquet of dark plums, mulberries and subtle cocoa are deeply embroiled in this perfume matrix. Add to the that, nose twitching white pepper and cedary oak and there is a lot going on…but not too much. Just enough we would say. The palate is where the real intrigue begins. Soft and generous with fine, dusty tannins that spread through the entirety of the mouth are just the beginning. Cranberry red fruits give a long, crunchy finish to the wine with just a kiss of acidity as the curtains close. Elegant and showing lovely delicacy from a slightly cooler year, this is a great wine for Christmas. Drink in the next 5 years. As we said before, this could be your new favourite wine, but proof is in the ham! Enjoy on Christmas day with lashings of cranberry sauce and good company.
